Hot on the heels of the DHL scam – one purporting to be from FEDEx arrived.
We always consign them to a Junk folder, which means our own mail server identifies messages from the same sender as junk in the future. But there must be hundreds of would be scammers out there, maybe they trade the scams in a sort of Top Trumps for Scammers?
As always, the email’s sole aim is to gain access to your bank account and part you from your hard-earned funds – so keep your wits about you at all times!
This scammer purports to be from FedEx, but the email’s sender is pavel@anitochwaco.com.
Never, ever, respond by clicking on an email hotlink – and don’t even click on the “unsubscribe” link – just junk it.
You may be tempted to contact Pavel and give him some stick, but that merely confirms his email has reached a potential target – so don’t do it.
If you have vulnerable members of your family, or friends that could be taken in, tell them to be on their guard.
