The star of Flog It, Bargain Hunt and Cash in the Attic will be presenting a light and humorous overview of the antiques industry and life as an auctioneer in his new theatre show Travels with My Gravel.
Adam is used to handling the full spectrum of antiquities from unusual items such as whale vomit which sold for £11,000 to a lost Beatles tape, featuring a recording the fab-four made in the cavern in 1962! Other higher value items which Adam has auctioned at his Macclesfield auction house include a fine Italian 1785 Violin which sold for £89,000 and two Chinese vases valued at £60,000.
As well as an insight into the filming of his various antique’s television programmes, Adam will provide audiences at Buxton Opera House on Sunday 22 November, an on-stage at appraisal of their most treasured items, whether they be worth £10 or a small fortune!
Audiences are invited to get in touch with the organisers of the show by emailing a picture of their item along with its history to info@entertainmentmanagement.co.uk
