Lord & Lady Ashbrook, owners of the Arley Estate, are opening up their two-acre garden in its attractive and secluded rural setting as part of the National Garden Scheme.
This event helps raise money for a number of charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Hospice UK .
The garden contains ancient yew hedges, herbaceous and mixed borders, shrub roses and climbers leading to a woodland garden and unfenced pond with gunnera and water plants.
It also features specimen rhododendrons, azaleas, meconopsis, cardiocrinum and some interesting and unusual trees.
Adults £4.50 (pay on the gate), 2pm – 5.30pm.
Children and parking free, cream teas available.
