‘Home from Hospital Good Neighbour’ programme

Cheshire East council are seeking kind and compassionate people to join their ‘Home from Hospital Good Neighbour’ programme. 

This new initiative, in collaboration with the Community for Voluntary Service Cheshire East, aims to provide practical support and friendly companionship to those recovering at home after a hospital stay.

If you volunteer to be a ‘Home from Hospital Good Neighbour’, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing assistance to ensure you feel confident in your role, which will involve assisting with tasks such as grocery shopping, pet care, preparing meals, or simply checking in for a friendly chat.
