Cheshire Police are seeing an increase in road traffic collisions across the county.
P C Teasdale wrote, in a social media post “Please think about your speed on rural roads especially on narrower country lanes. You never know what’s around the next bend.
“Taking your foot off the gas and losing a few miles an hour is a great way to avoid serious injury or death.
“Leave earlier, reduce your speed and drive to arrive. We don’t want to be knocking on your loved one’s door to tell them you are seriously injured or dead. “
