We are inviting you to join us at the Arley Garden Festival, which this year will be celebrating its 24th year. The Festival, which regularly attracts 5,000 visitors, has become one of the highlights of the horticultural year in the North West and follows the
Cheshire Show.
Once again there will be a Floral Marquee and a wide variety of plant nurseries as well as Garden tours throughout the day lead by Lord Ashbrook and Gordon Baillie our Head Gardener, there will also be a Gardening Question Time session on both days and other interesting talks in the Question Time marquee.
There will be garden accessories, Creative Crafts will host a marquee, food traders will be in our historic Cruck Barn as well as down to the hall and our ‘Arley Bakes’ cooking demonstrations of bakery products and techniques will run throughout the day. There will be a brass band playing in the afternoon for you to sit and enjoy and a jazz band will be playing around the showground during the morning.
In the Countryside Marquee visitors will be able to enjoy Stick Making, Coppice Fencing and Dry Stone Wall demonstrations. Classic cars will be infront of the Hall.
The Schools Garden Challenge is this year sponsored by Gabriel Ash who will be donating a red cedar, upright coldframe, delivered and assembled as 1st prize! The flowerbeds will be judged on the Saturday morning with a public vote taking place over the weekend, enabling all visitors to vote for their favourite flowerbed.
