Jodrell Bank Telescope Tours

Join of Manchester University’s physics undergraduate summer interns to find out more about the Lovell telescope!

During a half hour walk around the base of the telescope, you’ll hear about its construction and about some of the objects in space it observes today.

Drop in session – no need to book! – running at the following times: 11:30, 12:15, 14:15 & 15:00

Meet outside the Space Pavilion building. If wet, the talk will be given inside.

Please note this activity does not involve going up or into the Lovell telescope.
