National Garden Scheme Opening
The Old Parsonage

This is the home of Lord & Lady Ashbrook who own the Arley Estate.
They open their 2 acre garden in its attractive and secluded rural setting only as part of the National Garden Scheme, raising money for Charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and many others.
It has ancient yew hedges, herbaceous and mixed borders, shrub roses and climbers leading to a woodland garden and unfenced pond with gunnera and water plants. It also has Rhododendrons, azaleas, meconopsis, cardiocrinum and some interesting and unusual trees.
Adults £4.50 (pay on the gate), 2pm – 5.30pm.
Children and parking free, cream teas available.
