Wild Food with James Wood

Unknown

A great day out for the family, for the keen forager, for the chef or foody looking for more wild flavours, for anyone interested in sustainability, permaculture and working with the land for a better future. The day will involve a wild food walk around Macclesfield Riverside Park, where participants will discover some edible delights that lie on their doorstep and in their hedgerows. We will then return to the Ranger Centre where we will make some wild and foraged foods. Participants should bring an empty jar along to take some wild foods home with them.

Expect to try loads of prepared tasters and to cook up our own wild food delicacies during the day. Booking and payment in advance is essentialCost £20. Children under the age of 16 are free. Lots of tasters plus lunch, drinks and hand-outs are included!
