Winter is almost upon us, but Cheshire East’s countryside sites are still providing some stunning views.
We’ve been blessed with some amazing sunsets and misty mornings, such as the one above, recently captured at Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve by Ranger Mark Arnold.
As the nights draw in and the temperatures drop, the Ranger Service are coming to the end of its 2022 event programme but don’t worry we’ve still some great events for you to enjoy next month.
Take a look at all the Ranger Service events taking place across Cheshire East this November.
During 2022 our colleagues from the Bollin Valley Partnership are celebrating its 50th year of countryside management in the River Bollin catchment. They have undertaken a number of special projects to mark this achievement and one of these has been to produce a timelapse video of the Bollin Valley Way. This is primarily to showcase the stunning scenery and contrasting landscapes of the long-distance walking trail but also allows us to share the trail with people with mobility issues who can’t normally access footpaths.
