MACC TOWN TEEN TRIALLING WITH THE REDS

Macclesfield Town teenager Max Lonsdale is trialling with Manchester United.

The midfielder started for United in their 7-1 friendly victory over Spartans.

Lonsdale won the chance after reportedly delivering a DVD to manager Sir Alex Ferguson showcasing his performances for Macclesfield`s youth team.

Amazingly, Lonsdale, after being released by Macclesfield, actually knocked on the door of Fergie`s Cheshire mansion to deliver the DVD himself! The United manager was so impressed by the lad`s bottle, he handed him trials.
