ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR ON UPTON PRIORY BEING TACKLED

Broken Cross Neighbourhood Policing Team is focussing on is anti-social behaviour on the Upton Priory Estate.

The problem usually occurs on the estate, near the shops on Westmoorland Close in the evenings between 6pm and 10pm.

To combat this, local PCSO Gary Barnes has been working with housing landlords such as Peaks & Plains as well as the council.

PCSO Barnes is also speaking with the young people and their parents and agreeing acceptable behaviour contracts.

The number of incidents reported in recent weeks has already reduced. However one person continues to be a problem and further action is being considered against them.
