We understand that the hustle and bustle of a street market will be hitting Middlewich later this month.
The town will be hosting its first artisan market on Saturday, June 30, when almost 60 stalls will adorn the entire length of the high street.
Violet garlic, monks beard, Sussex beef, stinking bishop and purple carrots will be among the speciality products on offer.
Vicky Jackson and Denise Valente, who run the award-winning Wilmslow Artisan Market, are bringing the event to the town, following more than six months of negotiation with the town council and Cheshire East Council.
