NEW C.O.O. FOR BOLLINGTON GROUP

Bollington Insurance has appointed David Simpson as chief operating officer, with responsibility for finance and operations.

Mr Simpson was previously business support director at GUK Broking Services, and has held board positions at Lark Insurance, Carole Nash and MasterCover.

He has also been a non-executive director of The Bollington Goup (Holdings) for five years.

The broker made several other senior appointments, with Damon Blakey promoted to the role of director of coporate and speciality risks. He was previously regional manager for southern operations, and relationship manager for key affinities.

Jeff Dunn has been appointed as director of motor trade. He joins from Temporary Cover and has previously worked at Aviva, Groupama and Axa.

Rachel Aston has been promoted to director of marketing, from head of marketing.
Finally, Paul Brock has joined the firm as head of information systems.
