POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION FOLLOWING INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENT

Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl in Wilmslow.

At 5.45pm on Saturday 6 September 2013, the teenager was walking along Cumber Lane with a friend when a man in a maroon van exposed himself to her as he drove slowly past her.

The girl then ran off and reported it to her family who contacted police.

The man is described as aged 40, tanned with dark short hair. The van was old and battered looking.

PC Phil Macey said: “The teenager did exactly the right thing by alerting an adult. We made a search of the area, but no one fitting the description was located.

“We have not had any further reports of this nature but we have been monitoring the area. Anyone with information should contact police.”
