Information guide for victim support

An information catalogue of agencies and support networks will be produced to guide victims to providers of the help and support that they need.

The Voluntary and Community Sector across Cheshire has been awarded £74,049 from the Capacity Building and Capability fund to create this catalogue to provide information in an efficient and coherent way. The money will also be used to run awareness seminars based on various different crime types (for example, domestic abuse and hate crime).

Cheshire Constabulary will still be offering crime prevention advice, and referring victims to support services, but this catalogue enables victims to actively seek out alternate options to aid their recovery.
