Alternative contact number for non emergency calls – 0845 458 0000
Due to a technical issue, the police non emergency number 101 is currently unavailable. The technical issue affects the police service nationally, and the problem is currently being addressed by the service provider.
While the national number remains out of service, Cheshire Police are providing an alternative contact number for any members of the public who may wish to contact the Constabulary in a non-emergency situation. That number is 0845 458 0000.
In an emergency, where there is a threat to life or property, or a crime is taking place, the 999 number should continue to be used and is unaffected by the current technical issues.
