Police are appealing for information about a missing 14-year-old girl – last seen boarding a Manchester-bound train, wearing jeans covered in mud.
Anouska Maduro was seen on the platform at Stoke train station on New Year’s Day.
It’s believed she had come from the Staffordshire Moorlands area – and at the time was wearing jeans – which were covered in mud up to the knees.
Images were caught on a CCTV camera of her talking to a white man wearing a dark padded jacket before boarding the 11.21pm service into Manchester from platform two.
The train stopped at Macclesfield at 11.37pm, Stockport at 11.49pm and Manchester Piccadilly at 11.59pm.
It is not known if Anouska stayed on the train to Manchester or got off at Macclesfield or Stockport and police are very keen to find her.
Anouska is mixed race, 5ft 7ins and of large build with long black hair dyed lighter brown at the ends.
When last seen she was wearing a dark green parka coat, dark blue jeans with mud on them up to the knees, a distinctive bright blue scarf and purple Converse trainers.
Police are very concerned for Anouska’s welfare and are asking anyone who saw her or recognises her to contact them immediately on 101.
