Art for everyone

During April, Macclesfield Community ArtSpace have been offering community arts events around the town.

Everyone appreciates art of one kind or another and everyone has creativity and their You Too project was designed for anyone who wanted the chance to do arts and crafts.

For three Saturdays in April, the group took their Road Show around Macclesfield

On April 11^th The Church of the Resurrection. Church Way,Upton Priory; on April 18^th Hurdsfield Community Library, 7 Hurdsfield Green; and on April 25^th the Community Building on Mayfield Avenue.

During each session local people were able to meet the Artspace team and have a go at arts and crafts using photography, decorating pots, making art from junk, etc. Artists were on hand to provide advice and help participants the chance to create their own masterpiece.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays for the remainder of April and into May there’ll be a series of open sessions at the Artspace workshop in Heapy Street.
