Local car finance company opens offices in Manchester

Macclesfield-based finance expert, Car Loan 4U has opened a new office in Manchester city centre.

The expanding company has moved into the fourth floor of the Acresfield building in St Ann’s Square where it has taken 6,465 sq ft of Grade A office space, with the view to further increasing its presence in the building in the coming months.

Car Loan 4U’s new office is in addition to its 12,000-plus sq ft at Winterton House on Lyme Green Business Park in Macclesfield, where it employs more than 250 people. The new offices will allow it to create 50 jobs in 2015.

Chief executive and co-founder James Wilkinson (pictured) said: “We’re very excited about moving into Acresfield.

“The facilities in the building are excellent and for us to grown in-line with our ambitions, we need a first class working environment that, alongside a great benefits package, will enable us to continue building a world class team here.

“Marketing, tech and product teams will be moving to Manchester and along with the fit-out in Acresfield we are also planning to overhaul our existing facilities in Macclesfield and grow our sales and operations teams by 25% this year.”
