Budget supermarket, Lidl, are holding an exhibition outlining designs for its proposed new town centre foodstore.
The developers are seeking community feedback on a store – along with several retail and leisure units – on the former Towers site at Park Green.
The public will be shown three design options for the new site before the developers submit a planning application.
Lidl originally submitted an application for the site last year, but withdrew it before submitting revised proposals for a slightly larger store.
Proposals go on display in a unit next to the Sweet Emporium in the Grosvenor Centre and will be on display today – Friday, May 29 from 2pm until 5.30pm, Saturday, May 30, 11am until 5.30pm, and Sunday, May 31, 11am to 4pm.
The development team will answer questions there or call the consultation hotline on 0800 040 8404.
Cheshire East Council’s northern area planning committee had previously given the green light to a scheme, to build 14 townhouses on the site, in November 2013.
