Tomorrow, Saturday 27th June, will see history in the making when the very last flying Avro Vulcan – XH558 – takes to the skies over Manchester and Cheshire for its last ever flight in the region.
At the end of this year the delta-winged bomber will be mothballed – never to fly again.
Don’t miss seeing this sensational (huge) piece of Cold War history in the flesh.
It will pass over Barton Aerodrome at around 1500 hrs, Manchester Airport at 1505 and Woodford Aerodrome at 1509.
From there it will fly on to RAF Cosford and Newark Museum.
