Coffee Traders Angie hangs up her coffee pot today

One of, if not the, town’s favourite café managers retires today.

Angie Plumb has managed several cafes in the town for over 29 years and during that period has made friends of most of her regular customers.

Initially at Dukes Court Coffee Shop, then the Heritage Centre before finally moving up to Coffee Traders in Chestergate – Angie’s earned her place in Macclesfield’s Hall of Fame for great customer service.

Over the years Angie has become one our greatest ambassadors – with a welcoming smile for anyone and everyone that entered her café.

After nearly 30 years Angie’s finally putting her feet up for that well earned rest.

Angie, you will be sorely missed – thanks for everything!
