Cheshire Constabulary would like to invite you along to an awareness seminar for those considering becoming a Special Constable.
A Special Constable is a volunteer police officer and holds the same power in law as a regular officer. They wear the same uniform, use the same equipment and go to all the same duties as a regular officer.
Becoming a Special Constable with Cheshire opens up a world of opportunities, and you will be faced with endless challenges; no two days will ever be the same. This exciting and enjoyable role gives you invaluable experiences and training that you can use throughout your life to achieve your personal or professional goals.

Special Chief Officer Celvyn Jones says;
“If you want to support your community and be part of something unique and exciting, there is nothing else like the Special Constabulary.
“I would ask people to think about what they could bring to the Special Constabulary and consider – could you do it?”
There will be several awareness seminars held at the HQ throughout July by Cheshire’s Special Constabulary, where you will have the chance to find out more about the role, from those in the role themselves.
The upcoming dates for the seminars are; 13 July, 21 July and 1 August
