Employees will be paid on Friday says Bosley Mill owner

The owners of Bosley Mill, Wood Treatment Limited, have issued a statement assuring their employees they will be paid.

“We understand the concerns of our employees. We can confirm that all employees have been paid to date and will be paid again on Friday.

“We are working as quickly as we can to answer their questions following the devastation at the site.

We have been prevented from accessing the site during the ongoing investigation. This means we have been unable to provide our employees with as much information as we would like.

“We will share any updates with them first and foremost as a matter of priority.

On Saturday, August 8, The Queens Arms in Bosley is holding a family fund-raising fete from midday to 5pm.

It will include a bouncy castle, pony rides, a car boot, shopping stalls, a lucky dip, face-painting, a cake stall, public tug-of-war competition and a photo booth.
