Officers are appealing for information following a burglary at an address on Sandbach Road, Congleton, during which a number of service medals were stolen.
The offenders are believed to have entered the property sometime between 9.00am on Thursday 6 August and 5.00pm on Monday 10 August.

Once inside the address the offenders have stolen a small amount of money, jewellery and a set of service medals. The medals include Naval General Service Medal (1951) with the Palestine Clasp, an Africa Star, a France and Germany Star, a 1939-1945 Star and a War Medal (1939-1945).
All of the medals are engraved with the name Robert George Leach.
PC David Jarvis from Macclesfield CID said: “This incident has been particularly distressing for the resident as the medals that have been taken were of sentimental value.
“I would appeal anyone who has any information in relation to this incident to contract Macclesfield CID on 101 quoting incident number 687 of 10/8/2015.”
