The first Alderley Edge & Wilmslow Beer & Wine Festival takes place next weekend – Saturday 26th September – at Lindow Cricket Club. The event, which promises to be a great day out for the whole family, is free to attend.
Alongside a line up of 40 local cask ales, ciders and world wines, there’ll be delicious food on offer from some of the most original street food companies in the North West.
Sadie Pickering of The Yard in Alderley Edge has put together a fantastic line up of entertainment including The Blue Yellows, Ewan Sim, Phil Cochran, Drew Selby, Liam McClair, The Magic Voices and many more. Everyone is encouraged to bring along chairs and picnic rugs and make the most of everything on offer during the day.
Local sports clubs have been invited to come along and showcase their sports to younger festival goers who will be able to try out hockey with Alderley Hockey Club, tennis with Pownall Park LTC, football skills with WFA and Wilmslow Town FC and cricket with Lindow CC. For those of you wanting to see Rugby World Cup match, the game will be shown live in the clubhouse at the Cricket Club, so you can keep enjoying the beer and not miss the game!
The day starts at 12 noon and runs all the way through to 10pm.
