Police appeal for witnesses after fatal collision in Brereton
At around 12.45pm on Saturday 26 September 2015 emergency services attended a two vehicle collision on the A50 Newcastle Road, Brereton at its junction with A5022 Holmes Chapel Road,
A silver BMW 525 was in collision with a silver Yamaha FZS 600 motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old local man was taken to Leighton Hospital, Crewe, but sadly died a short time later. An 83-year-old local woman suffered minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, any pre-incident driving/riding of either vehicle, or anything that may assist the investigation.
