Eleven people have been charged so far in connection with Operation Impact.
The eight men, two women and one juvenile are all due to appear before Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 1st October.
Ten of them are facing charges of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs. One man is facing charges of supplying Class A drugs.
They were all arrested today (Wednesday 30th September) following a series of dawn raids at addresses in the Congleton area.
A total of 15 people were arrested. The other four (all men) remain in custody where they continue to be questioned by officers.
The strikes took place across four force areas (Cheshire, Staffordshire, Merseyside and GMP) and follow a similar operation executed just a fortnight ago, which was primarily around the Macclesfield area.
The raids have formed part of the Constabulary’s ongoing Operation Impact campaign and highlight the force’s efforts to tackle suspected drug related crime.
