The National Trust owned Hare Hill gardens enjoys its own macro climate, particularly in the walled garden, resulting in the trees hanging onto their leaves that bit longer. Summer flowers continue to bloom well into Autumn, whilst the cyclamen acknowledge the imminent arrival of winter and spring.

The 10 acre garden and surrounding park offer many opportunities for leisurely or invigorating walks, with easy paths winding through the woodland.

There’s also something for younger visitors – who are always looking out for hares when they visit. These shy creatures aren’t easy to spot – however, there’s a good chance you’ll see some next time – carved from wood.
