The pub landlord will be in Buxton

Al Murray, The Pub Landlord will be making a welcome return to Buxton Opera House with his show One Man, One Guvnoron Monday 9 November. Britain’s favourite publican (and politician) will be celebrating 20 years since he first embarked on his one man mission to become ‘the King Cnut of Common Sense’ and hold back the tide of bottled beer and ‘ninny state’ nonsense. To celebrate this milestone the guvnor has been taking in the vast majority of Great Britain’s finest theatres with this brand new show.

Also appearing in Buxton is funny man Patrick Kielty, returning to his stand up roots with a brand new show at the Pavilion Arts Centre on Friday 30 October. Join the former psychology graduate and star of Live At The Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand and host of The BBC New Comedy Awards as he attempts to write a modern rulebook for love, life and happiness. Just bring him your lovers, your advice and a crayon. He promises to do the rest!
