Cyclist who died in coffee shop named
The cyclist who became unwell and died at Costa Coffee in Poynton has been identified.
Following a police appeal, the cyclist Stephen Hardacre, 53, from Hazel Grove, was identified after a picture of his bicycle had been posted online.
Paramedics, who attended, attempted CPR – and treatment continued in the ambulance that took Mr Hardacre to Stepping Hill Hospital – but he died there later.
