The shop and café at Dunham Massey will be marking the start of the festive season with a unique Christmas shopping event that will celebrate the very best of local produce.
Shoppers will be treated to a free mince pie and mulled wine on arrival and can enjoy the festive atmosphere as they browse the shop’s unique range of cards and gifts at their leisure.
Ashlyn Collier, Retail Manager at Dunham Massey is organising the event.
“Christmas is always a special time at Dunham and this year we are excited to be celebrating local suppliers at our evening shopping event” she says.

“Suppliers include Cheshire Chutney who will be offering samples of their chutneys and drizzles and Dunham Massey Apple Juice with a range of their juices and ciders made here on the Dunham estate.”
“Shoppers will have the opportunity to try before they buy as we’ll be offering tastings of Dunham Massey Brewery beer and a variety of National Trust food gifts such as our popular biscuits and more.”
“Those looking for unique Christmas gifts for friends and family are sure to find inspiration at the event. Artist Pauline Townsend will be demonstrating her silk painting technique and cards made of her designs will be available on the night. Author Keith Warrender will also be at the event signing copies of his book, Bollin Valley.”

Dunham Massey’s Christmas shopping event takes place on Wednesday 2 December, 4pm- 7pm.
Both the shop and café in the Visitor Centre will be open.
