Barracks Mill retail park plans – Deadline for comments 4 Feb.
Developers have submitted planning applications for a retail park on the site of the burnt out factory next to big Tesco. They claim it would be too expensive to decontaminate the land for housing purposes.
Application no.   15/5676m.

Waters Green underpass – event this Friday
Good news – plans for making the underpass rather nicer are progressing well. There’s a pop up event at the underpass 11:30am until 3:30pm this Friday (22nd Jan)  to look at the results of the artwork consultation. The event will be hosted by the artists, Glassball, who were recently selected to produce artwork as part of the Waters Green and Middlewood Way Regeneration Project.
