Miss Marple to be Sleuthing in Buxton

This is the advert that appears in the local paper which spurs a group of residents in Chipping Cleghorn to meet at the proposed crime scene at the appointed time. When the lights go out a gun is fired. World famous consulting detective Miss Marple is quickly called in to solve the mystery, but can she untangle the complex series of relationships and events and find the killer?

Featuring lavish sets, period costume and a cast of stars from stage and screen including Diane Fletcher, Tom Butcher and Sarah Thomas, Middle Ground Theatre’s latest offering looks set to be their most thrilling yet. Based on the novel by Agatha Christie, A Murder Is Announced is considered a crime novel classic and has enjoyed numerous adaptations since its publication in 1950.
