A day at Quarry Bank proved to be one of the most fascinating days out in years for one family – comprising a one year-old, a two year-old, a young mother and grandpa.
The Clockwork Garden held everyone – even the youngest spellbound for over an hour – followed by a tour of the mill and the gardens – sublime at this time of year – kept everyone enthralled and capped-off a great day out.

Special mention and praise for the enthusiastic and very helpful staff, particularly one lady in the cafe who ‘broke the rules’ by providing a toasted tea-cake out of hours for the very hungry, youngest member of our party.
