Man sought following Alderley incident

Police officers from Macclesfield have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an incident in Alderley Edge.

At approximately 4.10pm on Friday 22 April officers were called to reports of a suspicious person in the London Road area of Alderley Edge.

The victim, a local woman, had been using the cash machine at a bank on London Road when she was approached by a man driving a Black Kia Rio who asked her to get into his car.

The victim refused to get into the vehicle and contacted Cheshire Police.  At no point were any threats made towards the victim.

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 603 of 22/4/16.
