Macc Art Lounge are an artist led initiative who organise pop up exhibitions in borrowed spaces, promoting artists to a diverse audience. We are committed to engaging artists with their audience and offering an open experience of art to the public, promoting and exhibiting professional local North West artists.
The current exhibition runs from 17th June to 16th July 2016 and promotes 10 leading local North West artists who share a common pursuit of excellence, with a couple of them being in the National Collection.
The exhibition is located in the old Premier Opticians unit, across from the old Argos unit – close to Boots.
Exhibiting artists include: Tony Berriman, John Eastwood, Ché Finch, Louise Jannetta, Kate Fawcett, Carl Longmate, Sandra Orme, Mark Sheeky, Gordon M Scott, and Faith Walker. Full details of our exhibition can be found on https://www.facebook.com/maccartlounge/
Alongside the exhibition, as part of the Barnaby Festival, the Macc Art Lounge are also hosting a series of Pop Up Artists Studios between 18th to 26th June (12 noon till 4pm). Several professional artists will be demonstrating their working practice, offering a great opportunity to see local artists at work and talking about their practice, with at least two pop up studios taking place in the Macc Art Lounge every day throughout festival.
Macc Art Lounge are creative partners with East Street Arts a National Portfolio Charitable Organisation.
