Yesterdays nightclub to be tomorrow’s homes

The former Yesterdays nightclub site in Alderley Edge has been given planning approval for a new residential development.

The approval by Cheshire East Council will see Intro Developments demolish the existing nightclub building, which has stood empty for 12 years.

The application is for up to 12 new homes on the 1.67ha site., including four affordable dwellings, each with parking, gardens and landscaping.

Richard Woodford, partner at HOW Planning, which acted on behalf of Intro to secure planning permission, said: “The Yesterdays nightclub site has been vacant for many years and is now a derelict, unsightly piece of land situated in the Green Belt.

“Our client’s vision will transform the site and create a stunning new contemporary residential development for Alderley Edge.”
