Officers from Cheshire Roads Policing team are appealing for information following a pedestrian collision in Disley.
Cheshire Police were called to reports of collision involving a child, in Disley, at approximately 6.00 pm on Monday 8th August 2016 .
The collision occurred on Buxton Old Road, Disley, and involved a grey hatchback car and a 9-year-old boy.
Police and ambulance attended the scene and the 5-year-old was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital, where he is currently being treated for serious injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.
