Tribute issued to Knutsford cyclist

This tribute has been issued by the family of Miroslaw Chlap, 48, who died on Sunday 4 September following a collision on Manchester Road, Knutsford:

“Miroslaw sadly died on Sunday night as a result of a being knocked off his cycle whilst riding home after finishing his shift at work. He was employed as a chef at one of the hotels in Knutsford having been in the United Kingdom for the last 4 years.”

“Miroslaw was a peaceful and cheerful person, always smiling and very helpful. He was interested in sports, history and enjoyed reading books.

“Miroslaw was just 48-years-old and he leaves his wife Nina and two children, Ernest, 19, and Kondrad, 7, who all live in his homeland of Poland.”
