Cheshire East Council is giving residents a chance to look at plans for the new £90m Congleton link road next week.
The plans for the 5.7km road, along with details showing the land required, will be on display on Friday, November 11, from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, November 12, from 10am-1pm at Black Firs Primary School, where council officers will be available to answer questions.
Planning permission for the road was granted earlier this year and Cheshire East Council is going ahead with plans to purchase the land necessary for the works to proceed.
Councillor David Brown, Cheshire East Council cabinet member for highways and infrastructure, said: “I would like to assure local residents that the council is fully committed to this project.
“The new road will not only help to ease traffic congestion in Congleton, it will also provide a major boost to the local economy.
“I would like to encourage people to come along on the Friday or Saturday to have a look at the plans and meet the team.”
