Fallibroome students success

Supported by The Rotary Club of Macclesfield Castle, students Daisy Lee and Catie Heyes from The Fallibroome Academy, successfully competed in this Rotary District disabled games event in Liverpool.

Sports activities available included archery, wheelchair basketball, new-age curling and boccia plus darts, pool, and table tennis. Along with their parents, Daisy and Catie were welcomed to the Rotary Club Meeting to be presented with certificates and gift tokens.

The students said it had been a wonderful experience to play a variety of sport against so many others, with the same type of challenges – had had a wonderful time, and gave very grateful thanks to the Rotary Club for the opportunity to take part.

The next Rotary club event is the Annual Swimathon on Sunday 12^th March at Macclesfield Leisure Centre – which will raise money for a variety of charities.
