Luxury housebuilder PH Homes is set to create 74 stunning family homes in the grounds of the 400-acre Alderley Park in Cheshire.
Designed by internationally-renowned architect Robert Adam, and ranging in size and style, the homes will be built on three separate parcels of land currently known as The Ride, Linear Park and The Serpentine.
The original listed walled gardens, arboretum, water garden and serpentine at the park will provide a spectacular setting for the new homes. They will comprise of semi-detached, detached and mews properties. Prices are expected to be in the range of £500,000 – £2,000,000.
The announcement follows PH Homes acquisition of the first tranche of land for residential development at Alderley Park from its owners, Bruntwood and Manchester Science Partnerships.
Alderley Park has a rich history that can be traced back to the Domesday Book. The estate became the seat of the renowned Stanley family in the 16th century and grew up around a nine-acre lake, Radnor Mere. It later became a home of science companies ICI and then AstraZeneca. MSP acquired the site in 2014 and its redevelopment plan was granted planning approval earlier this year.
The new era at Alderley Park will feature sport and leisure facilities, a gastro pub, hotel and farm shop. For the first time, the local community and residents will be able to enjoy access to the estate parkland, woodland walks and bridle paths.
