Christ Church will be open to visitors this weekend, 11am to 4pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the first Macclesfield Garden Festival.
It’s another chance to explore the building’s design, acoustic, social history and heritage of this Grade II* listed gem. Please spread the word amongst friends, family and other networks!
More about Christ Church
here.
Members of The Roe-naissance Project want to increase the number of people who visit and enjoy Christ Church to build up interest in its future, but also to attract volunteers. New members are needed to help in various roles, including stewarding Open Days, general care and site maintenance, developing creative ideas and exploring options for new uses.
If you – or anyone you know – is interested to find out more about volunteering or offer time or services in any capacity, please get in touch.
If you are on
facebook or
twitter, please help publicise the Open Days and recruit new members.
Thank you – and hope to see you over the weekend.
Please note, entry to the
Macclesfield Garden Festival on the lawns is by ticket, so entrance to Christ Church will be from Bridge Street and/or Waterloo Street.
