Walkers are being asked to pull on their boots to participate in a sponsored charity walk in Macclesfield.
The challenging 13.6 mile walking route, taking in the famous Cheshire Three Peaks of Macclesfield, and planned by organisers Francis House Children’s Hospice, is taking place on Sunday June 11.
More than 120 people participated in the event last year, with the option of a shorter 6.5 mile stroll through woodland and moorland.
A scavenger trail has been added with prizes for the winning teams, and the children’s hospice is keen that families sign up to take part this year. In 2016 over £10.5k was raised in sponsorship.
Registration fees apply. Anyone wishing to take part can visit www.francishouse.org.uk/cheshire-three-peaks/
