Space4Autism was set up in 2005, by a group of parents, to provide much needed support for families struggling to cope with the lack of professional services. From a meeting of parents once a month and now with a membership of over 600 families, they have moved into much bigger premises on Mill Lane in Macclesfield. The new premises will house the 300+ activities each year they now provide and it is planning to incorporate an Autism friendly cafe, a retail area and a huge sensory room.
