I can’t promise rockets and sparklers, but with the temptation of homemade parkin, ginger cake and a hot drink, I hope to see you sometime over the weekend.

Here’s a selection of the exciting new pieces I’ll be releasing this weekend.

This year, the Winter Show contains an eclectic mix of paintings:

• St. Paul’s at Christmas, London.
Spectacular festive scene of this magnificent Cathedral.

• Three Bridges, Castlefield, Manchester.
My favourite veiw of the City!

• The Cobbles, Macclesfield.
Quaint ‘Church Street’, with traditional shop fronts and fairy lights.

• Swing Bridge, Peak Forest Canal.
A particularly distinctive bridge, close to my home.

• A walk through the Village, Marple Bridge.
The attractive ‘Town Street’, of Marple Bridge. Always nice for a realaxed wander around.

• Rainbow Ripples, New Mills.
Depicting the home of iconic Rainbow Drops, Love Hearts and Parma Violets. The Swizzels factory reflected in the water of the marina.

• Camden Lock, London.
Showing the market hall at the former wharf on Regent’s Canal.

• Matt & Phreds, Jazz Club.
  ‘Back Chat Brass’ performing at the renowned Manchester Club.

• Match Day, Old Trafford, Manchester.
