Macclesfield Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Wilmslow.
At approximately 7.50pm on Saturday 6 January two masked men entered the Subway store at Summerfield’s Village Centre on Dean Row Road, Wilmslow.
The men threatened a member of staff, demanding that they opened the safe – then stole a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene.
Detective Sergeant Angela Coppock said: “Investigations in relation to this incident are currently in their early stages and we are following a number of lines of enquiry, including examining CCTV footage and forensics.
“As part of my enquiries I’m keen to hear from anyone who believes they have any information which could assist with our investigation.
“Summerfield’s Village Centre is a busy shopping centre and I believe that there will have been a number of people present at the time of this incident that may hold vital information.”
