Money for nothing

I’ve had some great news today, someone I don’t know has advised me that I’m £4,613.00 richer than I thought I was.

Apparently the money is sitting in an account I didn’t know I had – and was deposited in the account because the sender has compensated me for a mistake I wasn’t aware of.

All I have to do is hit the hot-linked “Withdraw current balance” which will no doubt take me to a website where I’ll be asked to fill in my bank details.

If that’s not sufficient to warn anyone off the fact that the email comes from newsletter@news.showmediahouse.com – should.

As I’m reasonably tech savvy I felt confident in making the connection and what do you know – I was redirected several times to eventually end up at: https://brxfinance.com/crypto-wealth/?link=18569&subc=wPBBQSEUP5FIMR2E1PE8QIMI&utm_medium=&utm_campaign=be014fd6-acb1-4757-a5e9-4c2cc3698041 – where I’m encouraged to buy crypto currency.

As usual, if you have any vulnerable friends or relatives out there do try to monitor their email traffic – and send any such messages to their junk folder – you will be doing them a huge favour.
